Together's we'll learn how to see more intentionally, work with light and composition, cull and edit efficiently, and shape a series of photographs that communicate meaning. By the end of the course, participants will have the opportunity to submit a finished photo series for feedback.
What participants can expect:
Photographers will be placed in a Slack group to introduce themselves, ask questions, and share their work.
Each week, participants will receive a lesson plan with resources, prompts, and creative assignments to complete at their own pace.
There will be one Zoom call during week 3 for participants to ask questions, share progress, and connect face-to-face.
Participants will end the course with one completed photo series, which Lindsay will review and return with thoughtful feedback after the course concludes.
Spots: 6 (this course will run with a minimum of 4 participants)
Lindsay Fauver is a photographer by trade, a teacher by choice, and a theologian at heart. She is drawn to uncovering beauty in meaningful moments—whether found in the quiet tenderness of her people or in the golden glow of light within a portrait.
A city girl with a coastal heart, Lindsay lives in Richmond, Virginia. She believes deeply in beauty and in the power of stories—especially the tender, hidden ones—to connect us. Her greatest joy is participating with the Artist greater than herself as He shapes, creates, and writes His story.
In a world shadowed by uncertainty, Lindsay holds fast to the truth that creating beauty is an act of hope. She loves matcha, pilates, and salads with a side of fries.
